We are Jenny and Samantha. We've know one another since we were five, when Jenny moved across the street from Samantha and we have been friends ever since!

Though our lives have taken different paths, we both love gardening, baking and other domestic pursuits, even though we both have full time jobs. Since we love talking about this stuff so much, we thought we'd start this blog!

About Jenny

Jenny is a newlywed, and a communications specialist by day. Her husband is a foot taller than her. She loves baking bread and is the proud owner of a sourdough starter that is more than a year old. She lives in the city, but longs for wide open spaces. She and her husband own a bratty dachshund named Liesel (after the Sound of Music, of course!). About Samantha

Samantha is a grain accountant by day.   
She lives in the country with her husband, son, a sweet Labrador (Layla), a goofy Golden Retriever (Maddie) and Votto the cat...who runs the joint.  Samantha grew up on a farm, raised goats, loves the Cincinnati Reds, and has a fondness for Chinese food and Yagoot yogurt.  She loves to garden, and is always trying to learn more about it.  She also likes cooking, crafts, home decor, and photography.  Her favorite toy is her Nikon DSLR!
